De maximumtemperatuur zal dalen van 8 graden op donderdag naar 3 tot 5 graden na het weekend.

Er is meer dan alleen maar kou. Na het weekend worden er ook winterse buien verwacht, waarbij neerslag kan vallen in de vorm van hagel, natte sneeuw of zelfs echte sneeuw. Volgens Van Bernebeek is het waarschijnlijk dat er winterse buien komen. Hierdoor kan het ’s nachts zelfs een beetje wit worden, hoewel het overdag vooral bij hagel en natte sneeuw zal blijven.

Mensen moeten zich voorbereiden op gladde wegen, want de kans is groot dat er lokaal sprake zal zijn van gladheid. Gelukkig worden de omstandigheden niet zo slecht dat het tot barre taferelen zal leiden. We bevinden ons immers in de late winter, dus de bodem warmt sneller op en de dagen worden langer.
