Villa The One Animacad wool square cardigan. Offered here a rare piece from COMME DES GARCONS' iconic AW 2012 collection, particularly notable for the use of stiff wool felt to create garments which sit completely flat over the body. This cardigan is made in a softer, medium weight wool knit rather than felt, but the garment has been designed with a similar focus on flatness. In this case, the cardigan is a flat square, with tubes of fabric added at either side for sleeves. This is almost the reverse of the felt pieces: where they create the appearance of flatness on the body, this garment is made entirely flat but because it is softer, the appearance of shape is created when it is worn. The cardigan has a high, round neck, five button front placket, and drama has been added by contrasting the pink main body with two bright yellow sections at the ends of the sleeves.
